Whitening Strips

Have you heard the big spiel? It's all about the choppers these days. How glimmering white are your teeth? You've surely noticed the ridiculous array of whitening toothpastes in your local supermarkets and drugstores. The media has engrained the message that whiter teeth equal a youthful appearance. What whitening strip sits in your medicine cabinet? Oh come on, are you saying you've never tried one? Well, if you haven't, then you're probably one of the few. I think it's pretty safe to say that most people across America have taken a stab at the whole home teeth whitening process. With the crazy rates that dentists charge, who the heck can blame you? Now days whiter teeth are just what's in!

I would like to state for the record that I've never tried a whitening strip. However, I watched my wife try several. The problem was they made her choppers extra sensitive. We all know that's never a good thing. A gulp of cold water can feel like a punch in the mouth. While this is a dilemma she encountered, I'm sure not everyone has the same trouble when slapping on a whitening strip. With the vast selection of these found in every corner drug store, they're rather simple to acquire. The question is; what whitening strip works best for you? Do you go with the Crest, of maybe some Rembrandt? Hey, didn't Rembrandt start this whole teeth whitening craze back in the 90s? I recall their constant advertising on television. Then quickly noticed that their toothpaste was way over-priced. Well, no worries; these days I can select from a deluge of whitening toothpastes. Some only cost a few bucks, and fortunately work just as well. Now, if the whitening toothpastes are simply not doing the trick for you, and you want to try a more powerful whitening strip, you may want to consult your dentist first. Since these quick fixes are known for their sensitivity draw-backs, a dentist may be able to steer you in a more prudent and comfortable direction. The fact is you can find a good whitening strip online these days. Maybe that one at the drug store is not right for your teeth. When it comes down to it, you're looking for a whitening strip that does the deed, but has no side-effects. The concept of white teeth certainly isn't going anywhere soon; however you can achieve that shade of teeth you desire with the right whitening strip and/or toothpaste.
